YOU GOT MARRIED IN LAS VEGAS! THIS IS A DREAM FOR MANY PEOPLE, CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE?
Your wedding day is a unique experience for everyone. For us it was twice, not only because we lived it the way we wanted, but also because it was an integral part of our first trip to the United States.
We decided to get married just as we were organizing the trip, reading in our trusty Lonely Planet that the marriage celebrated in Las Vegas could have legal value in Italy if regularly registered. Think that almost no one in Italy was aware of our crazy idea but, when we announced it upon our return, everyone was enthusiastic.
We got married on a very hot day in May when it was 47 degrees in Las Vegas and, outdoors, it was impossible to do anything (the only way not to melt was to take advantage of the air conditioning present in every building in the city). We therefore chose to get married at a slightly cooler time, it was 6pm (midnight in Italy) and a white limousine picked us up at the Stratosphere (the tallest tower in the city which also serves as a hotel). The first gift of the day was given to me by a beautiful little black girl with braids, who, seeing me come out of the hotel room dressed as a bride, smiled at me and said "You are so beautiful". As we left the hotel, many stopped us to congratulate us, asking us if we were going to get married or if we had already done so, it felt like we were on the catwalk of Hollywood stars, in that moment we were the stars!. The limousine, which was waiting for us in front of the hotel, took us to the Little Church of the West, a small wooden church that I chose because it reminded me of the Ingles family's house on the prairie (for those who are not our age it is a cult TV series from the 80s) where Gabri and I expressed our intention to become husband and wife by responding to the ritual phrase with "Yes, I do".
It was an unforgettable moment, even if it was just us, or perhaps precisely because it was just us, just as our evening was: we spent the whole evening in our formal dresses and, around Las Vegas, wherever we went we received congratulations from everyone we met, there were even those across the street who shouted "CONGRATULATION" at us or who had their photograph taken by the bride or who told us about their honeymoon in Italy or even who took us as an example to encourage your partner to get married.
The moments spent in Las Vegas were unique: it was this city and its surprising inhabitants that made our wedding day even more unforgettable.

Not only a wonderful adventure but also a wonderful country and people.
It was definitely an adventure partly because of the language, in fact in Kyrgyzstan it is difficult to find someone who understands English (they mostly speak Kyrgyz and Russian) and partly because a large part of the country is still wild (this is its main beauty) with dirt roads where we often happened to be the only foreigners who passed through there.
We were very struck by the fact of being able to camp freely, we usually looked for places far from homes so as not to disturb too much but it still happened that someone came specifically to visit us (in some cases the owner of the land) and I must say that it was on these occasions that we understood how friendly the Kyrgyz people were: they arrived (on foot or on horseback), they introduced themselves shaking hands, they told us something in their language (which naturally we didn't understand), we introduced ourselves by telling them that we were Italians (the word Italy in Russian is pronounced the same way), once they understood (I think) that we were people who could be trusted, they left as they had arrived. This was perhaps the only thing we regretted on this trip, not having been able to interact much with these wonderful people.
WHICH COUNTRY HAS KNOWN YOUR HEART?
There is no country in particular, we have left a piece of our heart in every part of the world we have visited (each for different reasons).
There are countries that have changed our lives, like the United States where we got married and Japan which made me fall in love with its culture and the sound of the language so much that I decided to start studying Japanese as soon as I returned home. Then there are the countries where we have left our hearts for the humanity and hospitality of the people such as Oman, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan, which I talked about above. Or even countries where everything is wonderful and every meter you walk you can't help but exclaim "wow" like Iceland, Colorado and Utah (in the Western United States) and of course Kyrgyzstan.
To answer your question: it is a country that covers the whole world that has captured our hearts!
WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS MORE ECOLOGICAL?
Traveling by plane and by car unfortunately does not make our trips so eco-friendly but in our own small way we always pay particular attention to the environment that surrounds us, after all the search for natural landscape beauty is the reason why we travel.
When we camp we always look for areas where we are sure we won't ruin the environment below by pitching the tent and when we leave we bring everything back to its natural state: if we have moved stones we put them back in their place, we take away all the waste even if it is organic and we erase all the signs of our presence. Unfortunately, it happens more and more frequently that we leave the area cleaner than it was before we arrived because we also collect the waste left there by those who preceded us.
The important thing for us is to continue to behave when traveling according to the rules that we have imposed on ourselves and that we also follow at home: we travel by car only if necessary, we prefer quiet driving and avoiding sudden accelerations, at the supermarket we pay attention to the packaging we buy, preferring recyclable ones, to transport the shopping we use the fabric bags that we bring from home, limiting the purchase of plastic ones only if we need rubbish bags, we use waste bins only if those for separate waste collection are not present.
