WELCOME TO EASY TRAVEL HOSTING! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR WAY OF TRAVELING, WHICH GOES FROM LUXURY TRAVEL TO BACKPACKING?

Hello everyone and thanks for the invitation!

I believe that sometimes people get stuck in a travel style: there are those who always look for comfort and those who always seek adventure, which sometimes - let's be honest - is also a little uncomfortable.

I tend to choose the travel style depending on the destination I decide to visit. If I leave with the intention of getting to know a new country and a new culture, I will try to immerse myself as much as possible in the place I visit and live in contact with the local community.

If instead what I'm looking for is a moment of relaxation I can opt for a pampering in a nice hotel perhaps with a spa. Sometimes on long journeys the two things alternate along the route. After sleeping for days on night buses or in hostels, you feel like spending a few days in comfort.

I believe that the important thing is not to set too many limits and - above all - not to try to replicate domestic habits while travelling.

YOUR BLOG IS ENTIRELY DEDICATED TO WOMEN'S TRAVEL. WHY THIS CHOICE?

Over the years I have found myself traveling alone more and more often. In particular, during a trip to Mexico, I met many women along the way who were traveling alone, but never Italians.

This, combined with the fact that every time I left and returned, many friends were surprised by my travels, saying that they didn't feel safe at the idea of leaving alone, made me think of opening a blog in which to talk about my itineraries.

LeCosmopolite.it is a travel blog dedicated to the female world where you can find advice for do-it-yourself itineraries, even solo, but also suggestions on what to pack, recipes from around the world and much more.

IN YOUR BLOG YOU HAVE AN ENTIRE SECTION DEDICATED TO TRAVEL AND GASTRONOMY. YOU ALSO LIKE TO TRAVEL WITH TASTE I SUPPOSE! CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT IT?

I believe that the food and wine tradition of a country is part of its culture exactly like a monument or a work of art.

If you want to understand a place and its people you must also taste the local delicacies and experiment with new flavours. Otherwise there will always be a piece of the puzzle missing.

Once home it is nice to bring traditional recipes to our table to remind us of that place that we liked so much and to relive our travels through flavour.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS MORE ECOLOGICAL?

Out of habit I almost always travel by public transport, I often choose to travel by train, perhaps using the night to make long journeys and I love car sharing. I rent bikes when the place allows it and above all I walk a lot.

I always carry a water bottle with me so I don't constantly buy plastic bottles. Even the choice of places to stay can make a difference. I believe we can all do our best to move towards a more eco-friendly approach to travel, even with just a small amount of attention.
