WELCOME TO EASY TRAVEL HOSTING! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF AND HOW YOUR BLOG WAS BORN?

My blog is called “Countrygirl – The girl goes to town" and was born, like many things, a bit for fun. I have always loved writing diaries and the blog is the natural evolution of this type of writing.

It was born because I moved to a big city, from a small country town and I wanted to talk about this big (for me) change.

Over time I began to shift the focus from myself to what city life and country life can be and I added a theme that is very close to my heart: eco-sustainability.

BROWSING YOUR BLOG YOU CAN NOTE YOUR LOVE FOR ART, PHOTOGRAPHY AND MUSIC. WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO IN EVERYDAY LIFE, WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS?

Yes, I love music very much, but I don't have a single favorite genre. I always like to have the radio as the background of my activities so listening is very variable, but I am a "girl of the 90s" so very in line with the music of that time. If we want to get into specifics, Jovanotti and Robbie Williams are the two artists that I can't stop following (adolescent passions that I will never shake off eheh).

STARTING FROM THE NAME OF YOUR BLOG, AS YOU READ THE CONTENTS, YOUR LOVE FOR NATURE, THE OPEN AIR AND GREEN IS CLEAR. BUT THERE IS ALSO THE CALL OF LONDON, AND OF COSMOPOLITAN, CROWDED AND FASHIONABLE AREAS LIKE SHOREDITCH. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THIS APPARENT DISCREPANCY?

greenery and nature are part of me. They are my origin. I was born and raised in open and green spaces. Playing through the countryside and having nature as my life partner.

Cosmopolitan realities, on the other hand, fascinate me because they are a mix of various cultures and this is always an added value that leaves something inside.
London is the first foreign city I visited. I have wanted to visit it since I was a little girl because it was the center of many currents, both past and present.

An almost inexplicable, but magnetic charm and from the first visit, this love was consolidated because it is a crazy city that can give a lot and satisfy all tastes (in London there is also a lot of nature 😉 ).

I wouldn't say discrepancy, but sides of the same coin which is my curiosity for what surrounds me.

To make my life more eco-friendly I started with the little things. – Pay attention to the way you shop (reusable bags, loose fruit and vegetables, local products with less impact on the environment); – Maximum commitment to separate waste collection; – Try to repair and do not immediately throw away what is broken; – Exploring the "Green" world by discovering increasingly less polluting and more sustainable products (for example solid cosmetics without packaging). A long research, but one that gives a lot of satisfaction and is constantly evolving because every day gives me new discoveries.
