Guatemalan Rosewood is used for the construction of furniture, musical instruments, cabinet making and for inlays. It gives off a persistent odor and has unmistakable veins, in fact an essential oil is obtained from it, used in the cosmetics industry for the production of soaps, deodorants and perfumes.
Given its characteristics and properties, Guatemalan Rosewood has been overused and for this reason it is important to help the regrowth of this beautiful tree in numbers.
