We are not influencers. Unfortunately (sigh!) no one pays us to travel, we were not born with a shirt and we have never even won the lottery! We are ordinary people, with a normal job, a mortgage and a (small) apartment, but a passion for travel... enormous! Despite this, we manage to leave once a month and travel the world on a small budget: our blog was created to tell how we do it!

A VERY FUNNY AND VERY TRUE ARTICLE THAT WE FOUND ON YOUR BLOG, TALKS ABOUT THE REASONS NOT TO TRAVEL. ONE THING ALWAYS OVERESTIMATED BY THE ROMANCE OF TRAVEL IS THE DIFFICULTIES THAT YOU CAN ENCOUNTER. COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR ACCIDENTS ON THE ROAD?

I think, for better or worse, they've happened to us quite a bit’ all accidents “classics”: lost luggage, rental car that stops, hotel completely different from the description… But certainly one of the unexpected events that we always talk about with a smile was the “conflict” had with the sacred deer of Nara, Japan, who in addition to the biscuits were swallowing an entire plastic cup. We literally had to rip it out of his mouth, holding him in two!!

YOU ARE THE DEMONSTRATION THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AN INFLUENCER OR RICH TO GO AROUND THE WORLD. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR TRAVEL STYLE?

Our choices are always oriented towards a type of experience that does not seek comfort or luxury, but prefers a relationship that is as authentic as possible with the local reality and its habits.

“Travel like a local” could be our motto, and in our opinion the do-it-yourself trip is the best way to do it, as well as spending little. But to travel a lot on a small budget, you also need small tricks, such as booking well in advance, taking advantage of offers and so on.… In our articles we always give a lot of space to these details, precisely to help other travelers save!

WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS GREENER?

E’ It is essential for us to always be respectful of the environment! We walk a lot and try not to use the car or public transport as much as possible, and we avoid large structures such as villages, where food waste is almost a given. We also try to use water and electricity without waste, just as we do at home.
