WELCOME TO EASY TRAVEL HOSTING! CAN YOU TELL US HOW YOUR BLOG WAS BORN AND WHAT YOU DO IN LIFE?
Thanks for the invitation, it's a pleasure. My blog was born from my two greatest passions: traveling and telling about places and stories experienced during my wanderings. Passions that fortunately, right from the start, I was able to transform into work.
In life I am a journalist and I mainly deal with travel and tourism, both by collaborating with websites, social pages or newspapers, and as a curator and presenter of television programs dedicated above all to the story of Italy and the beauties to discover.
Let's start with Erika was born exactly when my daughter turned one. After motherhood I rediscovered myself even stronger and with the right energy to give life to a project I had been thinking about for some time: a site where I can tell my travels, without filters and without having to account to anyone.
So it was. I opened the blog, which I like to define as more of a travel site, I reactivated a social page that I had opened some time before and I started an Instagram page. This is how everything was born. A project that blends very well with my life and work and that gives me a lot of satisfaction.

WE HAVE READ THAT YOU MOVE OFTEN AND HAVE CHANGED MANY HOMES, YOU HAVE EVEN LIVED IN NEW YORK AND LONDON. WHICH ARE THE HOUSES THAT HAVE MOST IN YOUR HEART?
Yes, fortunately, since I was little, I have had the opportunity to travel a lot. In my life I have changed many cities and homes, but certainly - despite the experience, albeit brief, of New York will always remain in my heart – the houses in which I left and also found part of myself are certainly the first in which I lived as soon as I moved to Rome and the very small nest that I chose in Civitanova Marche, when I moved to the region where I live today.
Obviously leaving out the house where I live now, where I lived the first moments with my family, my partner and my newborn daughter who will certainly remain in my heart forever.
The house in Rome was in the Monti district, one of the neighborhoods I love most in the capital, that of Civitanova Marche, among the alleys of the center, a few steps from the sea.

IN YOUR BLOG YOU TELL ABOUT THE LITTLE EXPLORED ITALY, THE SMALL VILLAGES AND THE LOCAL CUISINE. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND A PLACE THROUGH ITS FLAVORS?
A lot. Those who know me and have followed me for a long time know that in every place I go I love to taste local products. I have an innate passion for Italy and the products of this land that we all know is wonderful.
In my travels I go in search of unusual and little-known places because I believe that these are the destinations that need to be talked about and promoted and obviously to get to know the places I'm talking about better I try the typical flavors and discover their traditions.
I believe that traveling and discovering also means tasting the products, eating a typical dish helps you understand a lot about a particular place.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS GREENER?
I try, whenever I can, to use public transport and choose accommodation facilities that are small and family-run.
I often decide at the last minute where to sleep by taking advice from local people, I never print reservations or tickets on paper and I support local businesses by purchasing local products and choosing restaurants that offer traditional foods and run by local people.
