THE ARTICLE THAT IMMEDIATELY STRUCK US WAS THE ONE ABOUT SICILY IN 500! COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT IT HERE?
I'll make a premise: I'm Sicilian, I love my island and in the garage I have an ancient red sixteenth century, better known to most people as "Paperina".
Sicilia in 500 is a project born from the ambitious fusion of these three ingredients. The basic idea was to be able to show the glimpses (it is no coincidence that my blog is called "Glimpses of the World") of my land through an original perspective.
And so, thanks also to the collaboration of various local Fiat 500 clubs, my adventure began. I made ten stages following an itinerary that touched Messina, Catania, Syracuse, Ragusa, Trapani and Palermo. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to "slowly" experience the most beautiful and most loved places on the island.
I would really like to be able to do a second edition, and who knows...

TELL US ABOUT YOUR LOVE FOR NORTHERN EUROPE!
Northern Europe enters your heart and never abandons you. In winter it shows you its coldest, whitest, enchanted, magical views.
It surprises you with the magic of Lapland, it makes you feel like a child again with the embrace of the real Santa Claus, it makes you cry with that emerald green of its Northern Lights.
And then in the summer it makes you rejoice in the colors of Copenhagen, it leaves you breathless with the beauty of Stockholm, it makes you breathe deeply in a green and uncontaminated nature. How can you not love her?

AFTER WHICH TRIP DID YOU DECIDE TO OPEN A BLOG?
It wasn't a particular trip that made me decide to open a blog, but rather an internal need.
I needed to write about beautiful things, I, who for years had only dealt with crime and judicial news for an online newspaper in my city (yes, I am a professional journalist).
One morning I opened my eyes and said to myself: "Enough, if I continue to write only about bad things, I'll die inside."
And so I started the blog. It was my breath of fresh air, my support, the salvation of my writing and my smile. It slowly became my life.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS MORE ECOLOGICAL?
I am a firm supporter of eco-sustainable tourism and experiential.
Those who travel must do so consciously and, above all, must not believe they can set foot in a foreign land as if it were their own, distort habitats, despise cultures they don't know, believe they can do as they please just because they paid to be there.
Traveling means opening your mind, respecting places, safeguarding biodiversity, integrating with others. When I travel I always try to be a responsible observer, of distance myself from the usual mass itineraries to immerse myself in pristine places.
I prefer walking and trekking, at most public transport. I try to use eco-sustainable materials, eliminating plastic and derivatives. I try, in my small way, to make a contribution to safeguarding the world and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
It's my way of saying thank you to this wonderful land. We should all do it.
