Today we interview Giulia and Claudio, authors of the site MM Travellers Heartbeats, a portal that enhances the Italian territory, with lots of information for trekking and outdoor lovers.
Hi guys, welcome to Easy Travel Hosting! Can you tell us how your blog was born and what it is about?
Claudio Marzorati, I am a computer scientist with a passion for sport and nature. I run at a competitive level on the road and hopefully soon also in the mountains.
Giulia Merola, expert in cosmetic formulation and with the same passion for sport and nature. She too, unfortunately stronger, runs at a competitive level and doesn't mind a good victory every now and then.
MM Travelers Heartbeats is a portal capable of collecting digital content written by us on the wonders of our Italian territory. We aim to distinguish ourselves from others for our ability to bring all the data in a single point (GPS tracks, fountains, km, difference in altitude, type of activity, photos, videos and much more).
In the portal, each content is enriched by all this data and by photos and videos to give that extra emotional value to the story.
During the first tough quarantine phase, we understood that we were missing something that only open spaces could fill. The curiosity to discover new places and a strong desire to do something that could be truly useful for others pushed us to build something that would follow our passions and adventures.
Since Italy is terribly behind on digitalisation, we would like to try to leave our mark, bringing our portal to be used by as many people as possible, so that they can rediscover all the secrets that our territory hides: our motto? Discover Outdoor, Taste Nature.
Sport and nature are the combination that binds you and which is the basis of your site. Do you choose your trips based on the possibility of outdoor activities?
One thing that struck us is the sense of joy and positivity that your site transmits. What part of you do you want to convey to those who read you?
I'd say you totally got us. AND’ just like that!
We want to convey freedom, joy, curiosity and the desire to live and discover new territories.
A person will never be obvious and banal if they have stories to tell; it is the experiences and emotions that make us grow as people and establish new contacts.
For us, not only sport is important, but also the culture and history of our territory; This is why we are keen to also review those routes in which families can also participate.
Sustainable travel, use of clean transport, immersion in nature. What can tourism do to help the environment and what is your contribution?
To become sustainable, tourism can find new means of communication and travel, which is why we encourage routes that can be done on foot, by bicycle, on horseback...
Not only that, we try to favor km 0, structures and farmhouses that respect the environment, use local products and offer routes linked to their territory.
Our favorite means of travel? Your legs: as long as you have them, the rest you can roll downhill and land on your elbows
