LET'S START FROM THE NAME OF YOUR BLOG: IRIS E PERIPLO TRAVEL. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS NAME TO US?
The name Iris and Periplo Travel was really born by chance.
While we were thinking of a particular and original name, in the bathroom at home we noticed two products from a well-known brand that we usually use: Sara's Iris body cream and Ruggero's Periplo aftershave.
They were coincidentally close and the names Iris and Periplus enlightened and inspired us!
And this is how we have been Iris and Periplo for years now!
I SEE THAT YOU TRAVEL BOTH IN ITALY AND ABROAD. WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCES YOU FIND BETWEEN OUR COUNTRY AND THE COUNTRIES YOU HAVE VISITED?
Traveling around the world makes you realize how big and different it is!
Each country has its own lifestyle, especially going to Japan opened our eyes to the people who are so kind, polite and attentive to their traditions.
But among all the differences we found, a nice smile and a greeting makes everyone a citizen of the world!

The Ghibli museum in Tokyo contains everything you could dream of from Studio Ghibli, certainly the most famous Japanese animated film studio in the world, which produced Hayao Miyazaki's cinematic masterpieces.
Already at the entrance to the museum our hearts melted when we saw the very tender thing Stretch life-size welcome us!
The interior has several rooms, many curious objects invented by Studio Ghibli and a fairy-tale atmosphere that would make anyone feel like a child again for a day.
And when at the end of the tour we found ourselves in front of the enormous man of steel in a small garden, the robot soldier from the film Laputa, we understood that it couldn't have gone any better than this!
An experience that we recommend to everyone planning a trip to Tokyo!
WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE YOUR TRIPS MORE ECOLOGICAL?
We are very attentive to ecology, starting by using as little personal transport as possible, walking a lot and at most using some public transport to limit the emission of smog.
We use aluminum water bottles a lot to avoid having too much plastic in our backpacks and we try to divide the rubbish wherever we are, rather it stays in the bag until we find where to separate it.
