Welcome to Easy Travel Hosting! A travel style that seeks authenticity and respect. Can you tell us about yourself and how your blog was born?
We are Manu and Massi, a couple passionate about travel. For us, travel is not a simple holiday or visit to a country. But it is a way to discover, know and learn without limits of borders and boundaries.
And in fact our name essenceoftravel it represents our way of travelling: experiencing the place, immersing ourselves completely in the local culture, food and environment that surrounds us. Our idea for the blog was born during the pandemic but it was a natural consequence of our love for the world and the desire to tell it.
A difficult question, New York and Bangkok, which one did you like the most and why?
Your trip to Australia, a country that wasn't on your bucket list but gave you a lot. Which side of Australia fascinated you the most?
On your site there is a section dedicated to sustainable travel and a very important point, the care and respect for animals. Could you tell us about it?
Yes, it is very important for us, we suffer a lot and we also get very angry when animals are used to entertain tourists! Unfortunately we have not always had the right balance in making animal-friendly choices. But it was precisely the animals, exactly the Asian elephants, that changed the way we travel.
When we visited Thailand, we had a short volunteer experience at the Elephant Nature Park in the north of the country; it was a unique emotion to be there with them at theirs “service”, respect their times and their nature, not the other way around. From that moment on, when we want to have an experience with animals we make sure that it is sustainable and respectful!
