The mahogany is an evergreen tree. Can reach up to 60 meters in height and live up to 350 years. The wood is extremely strong with a fine texture, reddish once the tree reaches maturity.
The mahogany has a very strong radical system, able to prevent the erosion of the surrounding land. It is a very precious part of a healthy ecosystem.
