Hi Ilenia, Welcome to Easy Travel hosting. Writing Mora, a blog that was born with a very specific intent. Could you tell us about it?
It is true, Writing Mora has a specific goal, and that is to help all young Italians interested in studying in Germany.
The idea was born from a need that I myself had 6 years ago, when I decided to go to university in this country. For months I tried to figure it out, reading sites in German is still too difficult for me, official university documents, rules of admission… I shot in the round, Among all the doubts and questions that arose.
I would have liked to ask someone for advice, But I did not know anyone who had had this experience and who could help me concretely. With a lot of patience and stubbornness, however, I got out of it and I lived a beautiful university experience.
Then came the pandemic e, like many others, I used the time I had to make a project that had been blending in my head for a while: Create a blog where Italian students and students can find all the information they need on study and life in Germany. And here was born Writing Morating.
The passion for Germany since adolescence that also arises through music. Can you tell us about the groups that made your mind travel towards this country?
In truth, there was a group that indirectly helped me develop this passion that still lasts today. Don't laugh, but I'm talking about… Tokio Hotel.
Yes, I admit it: When I was a kid I lost my head for this band of the moment. I knew all their songs and knew everything about them. In particular though, Their original songs fascinated me, those in German that were not on the radio in Italy. I listened to the words and tried to translate the lyrics. This is how I approached this language, developing a real interest. So much so, the moment I had to choose which high school to go to, I chose a language school with German as the second main subject.
Thanks to the school I then learned more about the country, the culture and language of Germany. Until you take me, immediately after graduation, to move to this country to get to know it more deeply.
In which country do you see your future and why?
For now I see my future partly in Germany and partly in Italy. Germany would be my base for me, the country where I can work and settle.
On the other hand, I will always consider Italy home, the town where I grew up, where my family is, my friends and my roots. I would also like to spend time there in the future, I hope it will be possible.
What do you think of the Italian Expat community in Germany?
You must know that there are two types of Italians in Germany: those who roll up their sleeves and integrate as much as possible and those who move thinking that Germany is Eldorado, and then taking a huge blow and complaining about the coldness of the Germans, of time and everything else.
Luckily I had to do more with people from the first group. In fact, I know many young Italians who, come me, they attended university in Germany, they have given themselves to be done, they have learned the language and now they have many open doors.
On the one hand it makes me very proud to see how many young Italians and Italians talented they are here; on the other hand instead I make myself more and more account than Italy gives us the right value, in many aspects.

What do you think of this project and in general, Do you think it is important to search for a more sustainable lifestyle?
I think it is an interesting and necessary project. Many think that the Internet does not have an impact on the environment: but it has it all. We start now to talk about it and I hope that soon, People develop more and more environmental awareness also regarding this theme.
In general it is more than ever necessary to search for a more sustainable lifestyle and every small step brings towards a more than positive direction.
