My name is Alessandro Castagna, I was born in Verona in 1964 and I have always had a great passion for travel. When I was young, whenever I could, I would go off and visit a country, even when finances were tight and I knew the trip wouldn't be the most comfortable.
But passion was passion, and I always set off towards new destinations, as soon as I had scraped together enough to buy a ticket.
The idea of creating the site (which then transformed into a newspaper) I want to live like this it was born while travelling. In every country or city I visited I met some Italians who had abandoned the Bel Paese and had "reinvented".
Hence the idea of creating a magazine to tell their stories, often beautiful and compelling.
The growing opportunities to work remotely, The dream of exotic destinations, a lifetime simpler or cheaper is pushing more and more Italians abroad. How you have seen this phenomenon change in the last 10 years?
The gearbox was significant. When the magazine was born, we mainly told stories of those who wanted to get back into the game or who perhaps wanted to leave a stressful and not very rewarding life in Italy.

There are three places I fell in love with. Lanzarote (Canary Islands), green Ireland and Menorca (where I live).
