After which journey you decided to open a blog?
It wasn't a real journey that pushed me towards the decision to open a blog, but more than anything the desire to invent a job for myself.
After a degree in Modern Literature and a Master's degree in Communication and Media Culture, I continued to receive job offers that were absolutely not very convenient.: entering the public seemed impossible and I continued to move forward between one internship and another.
One day, while I was looking for job adverts online, I ended up on an article explaining how to start a travel blog... I didn't think twice and said to myself "let's try it!”.
Travel has always been part of my life: my dad is from Gaeta and my maternal grandfather was American. I've been traveling since I was two and a half months old and I've never been able to do without it!
Travel you eat it was born from the idea of trying to do something more than my innate passion: I decided to try to turn it into something useful for me, but also for others!

FOOD AND TRAVEL, AN ESSENTIAL COMBINATION FOR YOU?
Absolutely yes! Travel you eat was born precisely from this idea and... from mine and Ste's gluttony, travel and life companion!
Through the food and typical products of a territory you can perceive the true soul of a territory, its traditions and also its history.
What is on the tables tells a lot about a place: this is why it is essential to taste traditional dishes when travelling!
Furthermore, food can often be the real reason for leaving: we often happened to choose a destination for a food and wine event or a festival that particularly attracted us!

WHAT WOULD YOU ADVICE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO WORK AS A BLOGGER?
I don't feel capable of giving real advice yet: I still have a long way to go!
What I can say is I have passion, costanza e patience. The results, in this as in many other fields, they are difficult to reach. If you are not moved by an ideal, from a real objective you risk letting yourself be defeated. Plus you have to study a lot, and stay constantly updated.
There are those who think that travel blogger is not a real job, that what this figure does is just travel and have fun: I can assure you that this is not the case. Bloggers who make this a profession work a lot on articles to write, social networks to follow, photos and videos to edit…

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
Traveling eco-friendly is not always easy: just think of how much planes and cars pollute when moving from one part of the planet to another...
What we do in our small way is be careful of waste: In the hotel we do not change sheets and towels daily and we don't behave differently since we are at home (light off when you go out and no waste of water); In the cities we move on foot or by public transport (Even if we arrive in the car we always try to leave it in the parking lot); When we cannot print tickets and use e-Tickets to avoid paper waste.
We are convinced that even small actions can make the difference!
