Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! You can tell us a little about you and how the blog was born and how you chose the name?
Ciao, My name is Veronica, I was born and raised in my beautiful Rome. The nickname on social networks and blog is scrutinizer of universes, A definition given birth during a conversation with a friend and which in fact tells me a lot about me.
Why? Because they are one “world scrutinmer”, of naturally curious nature: I love to deepen various topics and I am hungry for knowledge, stories, of lives that move in this universe. I have also always been passionate about writing.
Since I was a child I invented fairy tales that, in my plans, they should have competed with those of the Grimm brothers :D. Over time I then developed many other interests.
I like travel, photographs, I go crazy for sweets (alright, We do for food in general) and I love reading. I tell all this in the blog, a container of passions to be shared and a collector of experiences, especially travels, moments of maximum enrichment for each of us.
In your blog there is a section dedicated to movies. What a meaning have the films you have chosen, And what the cinema represents for you?
I love the seventh art! I like author films, Those who make you think and who involve you as a nice book of fiction can do. Some films are particularly symbolic for me, uno su tutti Into The Wild che penso si possa annoverare tra i miei film preferiti.
Into the Wild for me is a parable of life, it is disarming and enlightening at the same time, it communicates a whole series of values that are a source of daily inspiration for me: the discovery of the unknown, the challenge against oneself and the overcoming of one's limits, the search for an intimate and profound authenticity, the fight against social constructs and conventions, criticism of respectability and hypocrisy.
In short, a true and touching analysis of the essence of life in my opinion, with wonderful music and photography. My mantra from this movie is “Happiness is real only if shared.”
We were very impressed by the section of articles dedicated to Paris, described with a dynamism and prose worthy of a writer. Could you tell us about how you experienced this city?
Paris is the first European city that I loved madly. I had always wanted to visit it because I had seen it featured in many films and mentioned in many songs. E’ a cultural reference, after all.
I experienced Paris by bike, especially with velibs, a very efficient and fun bike sharing service that I recommend to every visitor. This allowed me to travel and admire even areas of Paris that normally remain obscured if you take an underground journey on the subway.
Anyway, I always say that the scent of cities strikes me. Every city has its own. Paris fascinated me with its fragrance: brasserie, baguette, pane, cakes and croissants everywhere, a scent of melted butter that is out of this world…
And then Paris is wonderful in every corner, on every boulevard, in its cafes with customers' chairs arranged facing the street as if Parisians loved to be spectators of the city life that passes in front of them.
Cosa fai per rendere la tua vita più ecologica?
Public transport, when Rome allows me… In general I am in favor of using the meter, buses and trains, the amount of cars that circulate in a city like Rome is impressive.
And all with just one person driving! We are extremely comfortable in our transportation habits and don't like sharing or alternative travel methods.
I abhor plastic, I strongly avoid plastic bottles and all single-use plastic tableware, I make sure to use it as little as possible.
And then low energy consumption light bulbs and zero printing of cards and documents, unless it is expressly requested by some office that is unfortunately not up to date….
