Tops are the symbol of balance, stable, unstable and indifferent. A simple and complex engineering tool at the same time, built since ancient times, which finds its balance only by moving. TRAVEL TRAVEL It is the Blog in balance of Ilaria and Claudia

I read that you are two travelers with very different attitudes, Starting from the order. How to reconcile all this during your travels?

C: In life they are "slightly" disordered, But in the organization of the trip at all. I like to organize it firsthand and try to know as much as possible of the place I will see and from this point of view I am just like Ilaria. As for the luggage instead fortunately we always have different backpacks…otherwise I could make it crazy! After all, we also managed to live together for a few months…Yet another journey together does not scare us at all!

I: I am super orderly to the opposite, both in life and in the journey. I need the order to have control over everything. And luckily each of us has a separate baggage! It would drive me crazy to share the luggage with anyone. My luggage are super optimized and the way they are organized reflects my mental order a little.

What is the biggest difference between Italy and the other countries of the European Union you have visited?

C: It is not easy to find a single difference as depending on the country there are affinities and differences. I certainly don't think it's good food, as in Italy you eat very well, But I found exquisite dishes also elsewhere. History, culture, art, mare, mountain in Italy we have practically everything, but even abroad there are landscapes, different architectures and stories to ours. Personally, I have always noticed more points in common than differences, but a characteristic that has been pointed out to me several times about us Italians – and that perhaps we ourselves are not aware of it – it is our intonation when we speak. “Let's talk while singing”. With this expression I do not mean that we shout or speak loudly – although it often happens – but that we give a different expression to every word we say. The result is to capture the attention of those who listen to us who are surprised and partly enchanted.

I: In my opinion, however, culture profoundly shapes people. The way of life, studies, the food and history that belongs to each country, creates a different people. But it is a diversity that enriches us. Every time I travel I am super curious to find out how everyday life activities are managed in that place. What they eat for breakfast, What times do the children go to school?, how they experienced a certain historical period that we share. I ask all this of local people, I'm super curious about the most banal things in everyday life.

Alicante

THE COUNTRY THAT SNAPPED YOUR HEART?

C: Certainly Spain. I lived for a few months in both Madrid and Alicante and always had a great time. We both consider Spain to be our second home and would jump at the chance to return even just for a weekend!

I: I agree with Claudia. Every time I hop on a flight to Spain, my heart beats. Because for me it's always a homecoming!

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?

C: It's not always so easy to travel in a "green" way, but we try to do what we can. Personally, my water bottle never abandons me either at work or while travelling, but often in some places it is not advisable to drink tap water. Paper tickets are just a memory – at least when I travel to Europe – Nowadays there is almost always the possibility of having the electronic copy on a mobile device. Whenever possible I always choose the train and once I reach my destination my favorite means of transport are undoubtedly my feet. Only by walking can I fully "experience" the place, perhaps discovering hidden alleys or glimpses that leave you speechless. The world is so beautiful that I just can't understand how you can not respect it.

I: Like Claudia, I always have my bottle with me! If I carry food on the go, I prefer reusable containers or paper wraps. Furthermore, in my sluts there is never lacking the brush of bamboo and soap with olive oil made by me. Traveling on the way, path, path. I take public transport only at the time of need and always prefer metro or trains. I no longer use cash, I have only my smartphone with me where I keep all the payment cards and the tickets necessary for vehicles and entrances to places.
