Of ecological travelers
I saw that in addition to being a traveler you are a musician. Tell us about your relationship with music
which through my direct experience tells of how the world of music and entertainment have drastically changed after the advent of the digital revolution.

MUSIC AND TRAVEL, HOW MUCH MUSIC INFLUENCES YOUR TRAVELS AND HOW MUCH YOU SEEK IT IN TIMES AWAY FROM HOME?
I'm not one of those always with headphones in my ears, and maybe it will surprise you. Except when I'm behind the wheel, I prefer to enjoy the sound environment around me, whether I'm trekking or wearing myself out in an endless transfer on a bus.
A nice playlist can definitely enrich the moment if for example you are driving with your arm out the window at sunset in the Mojave desert, but if shot constantly through a headset it risks making some grips on the present slip through your hands, isolating you from a good portion of the experience. It's not for me.

AN ARTICLE THAT STRUCK ME WAS: 15 SIGNS THAT TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE LEARNING TO TRAVEL. WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO TRAVEL?
As I explain in the article, I don't even know if there is such a thing as 'knowing how to travel', but there is certainly a way to travel with greater awareness. I realized I had increased this awareness when I realized that my backpack weighed half as much, I didn't book anything anymore, I no longer worried about having everything under control and I willingly accepted the possibility of inconveniences because it was the very essence of a journey.

What do you do to make your life more ecological?
I believe that ecological sustainability is a direct consequence of a certain way of understanding travel. No domestic flights (unless strictly necessary), overnight stays at small local establishments, food as local as possible and in general a low budget approach.
They are small things that in aggregate can make a difference, with the hope that a growing sensitivity towards these issues will develop because of seeing yet another stretch of coast disfigured by the inevitable eco-monster for Canadians, Russians, Americans really can't stand it anymore.
As long as we travel to enter a comfort zone greater than the one we live in daily we will not get out of it, but to reverse this course a cultural shift is needed which encounters much resistance in the consumer society.
Perhaps an hour a week in compulsory school dedicated to the culture of sustainable travel, a space for raising awareness to stimulate the new generations on certain topics, It wouldn't be a bad idea after all. Everyone travels as they want, let's be clear, but it remains undeniable that some approaches cause more negative externalities than others and we will have to start adding some money.
