Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! You can tell us how your blog is born and what you do in life?

Thanks for the invitation, it's a pleasure. My blog was born from my two greatest passions: Traveling and telling places and stories lived during my wandering. Passions that fortunately, right away, I managed to transform into work.

In life I am a journalist and I mainly deal with travel and tourism, be collaborating with websites, social pages or newspapers, be as a curator and presenter of television programs dedicated above all to the story of Italy and the beauties of discovering.

It starts with Erika was born exactly when my daughter turned a year. After motherhood I rediscovered even stronger and with the right energy to give life to a project I had been thinking about for some time: a site where to tell, without filters and without having to account for anyone, my travels.

So it was. I opened the blog, that I love to define more a travel site, I reactivated a social page that I had opened some time before and started an Instagram page. So everything was born. A project that mixes very well with my life and my job and that gives me a lot of satisfaction.

We read that you move often and you have changed many houses, You even lived in New York and London. What are the houses that remained in your heart more?

Fortunately yes, from an early age, I got to travel a lot. In life I have changed many cities and houses, But surely - despite the experience, albeit short, of New York will always remain in my heart – The houses in which I left and also found part of me are certainly the first in which I lived as soon as I moved to Rome and the very small nest I chose to Civitanova Marche, When I moved to the region where I live today.

Obviously leaving the house where I live now, where I lived the first moments with my family, My companion and my newborn daughter and who will surely remain forever in my heart.

The house of Rome was in Rione Monti, One of the neighborhoods I love most, that of Civitanova Marche, among the alleys of the center, a few steps from the sea.

In your blog tells Italy little explored, Of small villages and local cuisine. How important it is for you to understand a place through its flavors?

Both. Those who know me and follow me for some time know that in every place where I go I love to taste local products. I have an innate passion for Italy and the products of this land that we all know be wonderful.

In my travels I go in search of unusual and little -known places because I believe these are the destinations that must be told and promoted and obviously to get to know the places that I speak better than I feel the typical flavors and I discover the traditions.

I believe that traveling and discovering also means to taste the products, Eating a typical dish makes it clear a lot of a certain place.

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?

I look for, every time I can, to use public transport and choose accommodation facilities that are small and family -run.

Often I decide at the last moment to sleep making me advise from the local people, Never mold on paper reservations or tickets and support local realities by purchasing local products and choosing restaurants that offer traditional foods and managed by local people.
