Emanuela's great trips

"Analytical photographer and solitary reporter, explorer of the folds of the world and homeless thinking in search of the truth and seduced by the differences, dispersive by nature, idealist by choice, without prejudice or expectations". So Emanuela is described, author together with Massimo, site Traveler

Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! A degree in Economics, one in philosophy, photographer, reporter, Your journey is created step by step, depending on the opportunities that are presented to you. You would talk to us about you, of your travels and how your blog is born?

I have always wondered how I would now be if my mother, when I had 3 years, he hadn't given me a nice colorful world map; or I know, When I had it 12, He had not made me find me under the Christmas tree the atlas of the legendary places - which is still in my library and which often still bels.

Ideas that obviously encouraged me but that, at the same time, They took the place of the spark on over a ready -made cadast. Morale: the journey as knowledge, research, immersion in everything that is "other" from me is something inherent and that I feel me belonging to me as a limb or organ. It is eaten, limp. And I feel like halved.

I need to travel to understand, compare, reflect, go into detail, share. That's why I always leave the door open to every opportunity, I do not set barriers, I don't grow expectations. The amazement and discovery are the cornerstone of my every trip, for a long or short that it is, Neighbor, far or still to come.

The blog professional traveler that I created together with my dear friend and connects Massimo Prosperi - with whom I share the same spirit of travel - was born from the desire to offer the reader an alternative point of view on the places we visited and crossed (each on their own), giving him the opportunity to live different experiences, to dwell on stimulating details and to travel routes beyond the canonical tourist itineraries, increasing his curiosity as far as the spirit wants to dare.

In short: There are interesting and deserving places that, For some mysterious reason, They are not contemplated by the classic guides but which are able to reserve pleasant surprises. And there are also popular and renowned places of which we try to bring to light the less considered but equally - if not more - intriguing aspects, providing unusual prospects, unexpected, singular.

Our senses and their way of "feeling", therefore, they are at the complete disposal of those who read us and those who venture among our articles. Everyone. From the first to the last. Photos included.

On your blog you talk about the art of wandering, You can explain to us what it consists of?

The vocabulary defines the "wandering" one wandering without a goal and without purpose. Vero. But in my case, The destination is "not having a destination". Or at least, not a precise destination.

I leave following a direction, A suggestion that life whispered to me between the lines of the newspaper - perhaps through a book, a music, a meeting, an object - and then I let myself be inspired, road, from the circumstances that are looming and from the acading of time, from coincidences and fortuitous cases, by people who cross my path and that, aware or not, They show me a new way to go.

I like to think that traveling I close circles and I open others, like a chain with infinite shirts.

Traveler: at what moment did you realize that you are no longer a simple tourist but yours had become traveling, And where did you feel you took that extra step, and having become a professional traveler?

When I had approximately 6 years, My mother - Always her, The stone of the scandal, By now you understand it - he put me on the turntable a 45 turns of the beatles. On the one hand, Michelle; on the other, The Night Before. The latter song literally made me crazy. I wanted to know more. I wanted to listen more.

Then one day he returned home with the Abbey Road box. An album with the name of a street? It really existed? Where it was? So far? When I will be great - I told myself - I will go there and walk on those same stripes like them.

It was the first thing I did when I arrived in London. The second, It was taking a train to Liverpool. The third, spend the night in the basement - closed to the public - of the pub whose walls had been painted by a young and not yet famous John Lennon.

How and why I found me in that unforgettable circumstance is a long story. It is always, actually, A long story. Emotion. Experience. Vita. When you don't look for the beauty and do not avoid the ugly, but I aim for the truth, then you really stop being a tourist and become a traveler.

Or at least that was for me…

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?

I travel on the way the same precautions that I carry on in everyday life. Detest waste. I prefer housing within structures that have chosen to use clean energy, biological and local food (such as Ecolodge or Farmhouses).

Document through photos and interviews the activities of local groups aimed at safeguarding the environment (like cleaning the seabed in Aqaba, for example).

I try to fly with airline that commit themselves to reducing CO2 emissions. Journey with light luggage. And not tickets mold, Voucher O imbarco card, Using only their digital version.
