NOMADIC EMOTIONS AND
STORIES OF A WANDERER
-The stories of Elisa-
Elisa has traveled as a child, But first of all Germany and then India change the perception of his travels and his life. Elisa De Pascali - Nomadic Emotions and Stories of a Wanderer It is the blog where he talks about his travels, of changes and his India.
Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! You could talk to us about you and how your blog was born?
My blog has been a dream guarded for years in the drawer, Ever since I set foot for the first time in India. Since I was a child I have felt the feeling of wanting to go beyond the borders of my small town, studying English from an early age and then with the first study trips to high school.
The University in Milan and above all Erasmus have upset my life, making me open my mind towards horizons never thought before. I am passionate about cultures and exchanges with people and this is what I seek on the journey, choosing less popular destinations e, even in the best known ones, the authenticity of the place.
From my degree in England in 2014 up to 2017 I lived and worked in India and I traveled extensively in the country and south-east Asia. Unexpectedly, I returned to Puglia where I live and I still work in the world of tourism and I accompany travel groups to India.
Passionate about travel and photography writing, the work break caused by Covid in 2020 It allowed me to stop and finally realize my dream.
Thus was born Nomadic Emotions and Stories of a Wanderer through which I tell the lands I am linked to: India and Puglia and I offer advice for the organization of travel.

India, dreamed of so much and then reached and lived, And now it seems almost a dream, years later. You could talk about your experience in this land, What brought you and why you decided to leave it?
India was a country that I had never approached until I encounter with my neighbor Indian room in the study in Germany. We squeezed a strong link immediately and gently accompanied me between cultural and cultural anecdotes in this land, at the time only imagined, Through spicy flavors and classic notes by contrasting German gray and cold.
I immediately warned a flame inside me who recalled me towards India and so, After finishing your studies, I decided that the best way to be able to live it in depth was to find a job.
I find myself at 22 years in India alone with an internship, transformed into the contract and so I stayed there for two and a half years. I lived in a large metropolis, Pune, where life flows with rhythms and ways far from those that many associate with India.
I had a great job but it was not linked to my passions: I experienced exactly the moment I thought I made myself but, in conclusion, something was wrong.
I felt that somehow that chapter had to close. Traffic, pollution, The pitfalls of a western working woman, The world of expatriates, they began to be tight. It was no longer India that had given me strong emotions and happiness, But a western bubble was revealing.

How was your return to native land, Puglia, After an experience like the one you lived in India?
The return to Italy, Even more in Puglia, it was absolutely not in my plans. However, it turned out to be unexpectedly pleasantly pleasant.
The little things and the quality of life that we often take for granted immediately immediately accompanied me in a sweet return and continue to do it still.
Every time I raise your eyes to the blue sky, I can reach the sea in a few minutes and eat good food, I get excited and I consider myself very lucky.
I think I made a choice of life that, sooner or later, we are all led to do. Finding your work and personal size in Puglia is not easy at all.
However, If we all go away and nobody tries, it will be an increasingly young land and instead has great potential.

Tourism and promotion of the Apulian territory that influences have in the management of waste and pollution by the Region?
Puglia is a very complicated region and the impact of tourism in recent years has certainly given a strong impulse to the resolution of different problems.
However, Puglia is made of different realities. Some areas, such as the Itria Valley and the Gargano, They have a different history and experience in welcoming tourists, Even belonging to a very high target therefore there is a greater attention to the issues of urban decorum, including waste management.
Then there would be a distinction also in the type of tourism and reception: as previously, Some areas attract a less invasive and attentive flow of tourists while other areas, like Salento, I am prey to mass tourism that does not benefit the environment.
As a natural consequence of the pandemic, Tourism is also evolving in Puglia and I believe that the next few years will be crucial for a definitive change of course.
