My name is Elena, to 32 years and I deal with marketing and corporate communications, holding the role of managing director within the Alterego Creative agency.

Until a few years ago I represented the perfect consumer. Since I was a little girl I have been attracted to fashion as a tool through which to research (and flaunt) my personality. With this strategy I founded, In the 2010, mixelchic.it, my lifestyle blog, through which fashion was proposed as a vehicle of communication, versatile and attainable.

Over the years I have evolved my personality, my interests and with them my communication strategy. I have always loved animals and nature, but I feared that showing such a "human" side of me would be more of a disadvantage than anything else, in terms of career. To be accepted ed in the years of the fashion blog boom, I wanted to ride the wave too. But I soon realized that that world would never fully represent me. While the other colleagues went crazy for handbags and sample clothes, I avoided Fashion Weeks to take refuge in the countryside, in the middle of nature.

A few years later I chose to abandon my job, always within the world of communication, to found with E.M., the communication agency Alterego Creative. This move required investments and I therefore had to keep my expenses under closer control, learning to consume less and better.

I have learned to keep my purchases under control, to buy less, to consume basic foods by cooking at home and using self-production for many tasks, from cooking to home and personal care.

The more I freed myself from excesses, the more I discovered I felt better, I learned to know and accept myself. And it was right when I took off the mask that I started to win.

I discovered minimalism by inquiring online, through blogs and videos on Youtube and I immediately understood that this was the most correct way to live, for me.
