How and when your passion for travel is born?
There is no particular moment. Since I remember I have always loved to discover new places and explore. As a child, Perhaps, They could simply be the woods near home. Afterwards, growing and becoming autonomous on an economic level, I started moving in Italy, in Europe and other continents.
I love wandering to see different cultures, Meet new people, admire the beauties of nature. I feel I have a strength within me who pushes me to want to visit ever new and different places. As soon as I go back from a trip, I already think of the next destination. I hardly come back where I have already been: The world is so big!

What do I recommend to those who want like you, Decide to be a mistress of one's time?
Being able to become masters of your time is not a simple thing, both from an economic and personal point of view. The important thing is to believe it for real and try, Because in life it is necessary to give space to our desires and try to come true our dreams, whatever they are!
You have to have great willpower, determination e, above all, Avoid the head shots that, Often, do not bring anywhere. Changing your life radically is not easy and it has to be, at least in part, planned and reasoned, to avoid finding yourself in unpleasant situations.
I left a permanent job afterwards 12 years because I was no longer happy with the life I was living. I said to myself: if not now, when? And so I decided to give it a try and try to do what really makes me feel good. There is still a long way to go, but I would never go back. So, the only advice I can give is: don't put it off, take your dreams locked in the drawer and try!

What was the most extreme experience you lived on the road?
Three years ago I started suffering from severe and disabling back pain. In that period I rediscovered my relationship with nature and understood how much physical movement can bring wellbeing to our body. After the back surgery I had last year, I promised myself that, once you feel better again, I would have left alone for a long journey.
And so I did: I left my job and traveled the entire Italian Via Francigena for a total of 1100km. I know this might not seem like an 'extreme' journey, but for me it was for a thousand reasons, even personal ones. I pushed my limits every day, I faced a challenging journey alone with a backpack on my shoulders, I walked for 50 days under the sun and rain, I put my willpower to the test. Ma, above all, I learned that to be really well we need very few objects and that most of the things we surround with are useless.

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
Walking on foot I think it is one of the most ecological ways to move. I try to do it often but, Obviously, It cannot always be implemented when traveling.
When I can't walk, I try to move with public transport To decrease the environmental impact. Often, only, especially in certain countries, You have no choice and you are forced to move with very polluting means and buy food in disposable plastic containers. I am also very attentive to Avoid the use of plastic bottles: I never drink carbonated drinks and I always carry the water with me in a reusable aluminum bottle.
Furthermore, When possible, I try to respect the rules for a good one waste sorting of waste even if, Unfortunately, Many countries are far behind this point of view.
