We are Federica and Andrea del Blog Ioviaggiocosi – Travel Blog. We live in the province of Piacenza, city we love with all our hearts.
We love to travel a lot, Passion that led us to open our blog four years ago. We were returning from a trip on the road to Spain and we said "how nice it would be to be able to share photos, Itineraries and advice with other travel lovers!”. From there we informed ourselves and published the blog.
We have always been travelers who have always been. When we still didn't know we also had a solitary travel experiences, but after meeting we realized that traveling together was truly perfect.
We start the journey at home.. when we are about to define the itinerary, booking the facilities where to stay and deciding the stages. Then the suitcase, the moment that many hate, but which we like so much because it already makes us savor the excitement of leaving.
In short, we love traveling to 360 degrees.
GASTRONOMY, TRIPS, AND PHOTOGRAPHY: AN ESSENTIAL TRINOM?
We love to travel, we love taking pictures and we love trying local dishes.
All this is included in the blog. In fact, our specialty is travel with food and wine itineraries. For us to know a country, a city, a culture cannot exclude what is local gastronomy.
When we plan a trip and define the stages, We always keep an eye on the typical products so that we can then try them once on site.
WHAT IS THE DESTINATION OF YOUR DREAMS AND WHICH IS THE NEXT PLANNED?
At the moment we don't have the destination of our dreams.
Or better.. we have an endless list!
We would like to go and discover Iceland, but at the same time we would like to go on a safari in Africa and why not, explore China.
Next trip planned, Covid-19 permitting, it would be in Malta! Fingers crossed. We are really curious to discover this new destination.
What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
In our own small way we try to be eco-friendly at home and also when travelling.
We equipped ourselves with backpacks created with recycled fabrics. We always use thermal aluminum bottles so as to avoid purchasing plastic ones.
When we choose the facilities to stay in we always look for accommodations that pay attention to the environment. We were recently guests of a CasaClima, structure that uses only renewable energy.
