TRAVELING FOR YOU MEANS BEING AMAZED BY WHAT YOU ENCOUNTER ON THE WAY. WHAT MAKES YOU MOST AMAZED?
Traveling for me means many things , But it is the amazement and emotion that after so many years I still feel that it really makes me understand why I like it so much .
Amazement is being in front of the sea or observing an infinite and uncontaminated panorama
Amazing is being lucky enough to be able to admire a free animal in its natural environment
In recent years , I often travel to islands less known by mass tourism and the greatest amazement is the smile of the Indonesian people, they are often populations who live on the edge of poverty but who have great wealth and from whom we have a lot to learn .

YOU ARE A TRAVEL DESIGNER. WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
Perhaps today with the help of the web it seems easy to prepare a traveling trip on your own but often this is not real and if on paper everything works out when you arrive at your destination, we have to deal with unexpected events and logistical problems, this leads to a loss of precious time and the total failure of the trip.
This is what a travel designer is for, listens to travellers' requests and works together with them, perhaps downsizing the trip and optimizing the times based on the days available.
Or design an entire traveling trip from scratch, the result is to obtain unique, tailor-made trips.
It is essential to know the tourism sector well , the logistics of the destination , have a great experience and give it away generously, in short, it is not a job that can be improvised .
A travel designer often adds some gems that cannot be found online and uses expert local guides , thus putting the traveler in contact with the true local reality of a country .
It should be noted that a travel designer is not a blogger , a travel package agent or seller .

WOULD YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR HOME AND WHERE YOU LIVE MOST OF YOUR TIME?
My home is in Bali, it is an old local style house that I renovated, small but with a beautiful garden full of plants and flowers , it is located in a neighborhood inhabited by Balinese .
Indonesia is a country of cheerful chaos, and life also takes place along the streets.
Every afternoon a little bell announces the arrival of the basko cart, The plastic bucket seller or the ice cream seller with his unmistakable music, the children ride back and forth laughing on their bicycles.
There is never silence in my house, often even at night you can hear dogs and some roosters barking , fortunately in the distance, but this is the true context of the country I chose and despite an initial shock I am now used to it and I really like it .
Mine is a simple life without any superfluous luxury, true wealth is given by the fact that I am the true owner of my time .
And then … living on a legendary island like Bali is already an asset !

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
Great question, This is a question that is very dear to me, ecology and the exploitation of animals for tourism purposes.
I live in a very fragile country from an environmental point of view, where a large part of the population has not yet understood the damage caused in the medium and long term, from incorrect waste management.
Many things are moving, since January 2019 Plastic bags are no longer allowed in Bali, Heavy sanctions have been applied to those who throw rubbish in unsuitable places .
At school the children have a day dedicated to cleaning the streets, they are beautiful to look at, all lined up with their uniforms and brooms to clean the roadsides.
Some facilities even offer free drinks to those who collect plastic from the beaches.
Of course it will take decades before we see results but the important thing was to get started, and this step has been taken !
I personally try to do everything I can and use many precautions to try to limit damage to the environment.
I have a thermal bottle that I fill with water from the bottles, I use fabric shopping bags every time I go to buy something, I always try not to waste water .
If I'm traveling I usually consume food by the mile 0 and in the hotel I never ask for sheets and towels to be changed daily .
I never leave anything around that could pollute, I never go places, where animals are exploited for tourism purposes.
Unfortunately, this often happens in Asia, pythons or boas with their mouths taped shut.
Caged monkeys or chained elephants, stars or other sea creatures brought out of the water.
All this in the name of a photograph, it is impossible that there are still people who do not understand the absurdity of this .
I believe if we all do our part, we might see the results soon, I'm pretty confident .
