Ciao, Thanks for giving us the opportunity to tell a bit’ of our history.
Tracuino travel was born in 2014, when I (Erika) I decide to give life to a space in which to combine my three great passions: writing, photography and travel.
The name is an almost obligatory choice because in my bag there is never a notebook and I have always liked to pin hot sensations when I'm traveling. I write a diary from the age of 9 years and I never stopped: Journal is a habit for me from which I don't detach myself even when I'm on the other side of the world.
The blog therefore was born as a personal need, To then become a precious place of confrontation and knowledge of people and special places around Italy and beyond.
In the 2015 thanks to the Blog Meet (and a few months later groom) Luca, who would shortly have left his career in the lawyer to dedicate himself totally to the work of photographer; With him the Taccuino travel project grows and is enriched with many photographic works. During an event to which we are invited as Blogger Luca meets the Press Office of the Finland Embassy and thus begins a collaboration that still lasts today with numerous embassies in Italy and in the state of the Vatican. To say how from one thing made for pure passion, important jobs and life can be born.
In recent years, become parents, with a photographic studio to manage and a medium pandemic, We started traveling less and less. The passion remains and as soon as we can we can carve out time even for small adventures in the family, Discovering nature corners, history and beauty.
The blog has been stopped for a while’ Unfortunately, because even if it doesn't seem, requires a great work of care and time if you want to do it well. But we were sorry for the idea of letting him go, for what he represented and gave us; because of this, Just in these months, We decided to carry it forward with a new guise, closer to what we have become and that we do today, natural evolution of what has been and cannot be forgotten.

Here we are really in difficulty, Because we cannot choose from the many trips left in the heart of both in these 8 years together.
The first answer, as soon as the question read, it was for both Ireland: We had already been there years earlier, Luca with friends and Erika during a solo trip for his 25 years. The warmth of Dublin, The show of Moher's cliffs, The magic of Newgrange, the green of those boundless fields and then, unexpectedly, A marriage proposal at the foot of the Malahide Castle. The other two are definitely the trip to Canada and that a Lanzarote.
The first was our honeymoon and we knew would have given us immense emotions, just like its spaces and distances we have traveled. 25 days between the east and west of the country, An unforgettable experience. Toronto is the city we loved most, even if the most intense emotions has given us nature: waterfalls, icy mountains, crystalline lakes, Special meetings with animals of large parks. To remove the breath.
The last trip we want to mention is the one in Lanzarote, Choice a little’ By chance and become our island of the heart. Perhaps because nature is also the master there. The volcanic land, The strength of the ocean, the human hand that merges with the environment and creates wonders. And again the house of Saramago, The walks among the Geria vineyards, the feeling of peace at every corner. A place that seemed so far from our imagination but that we have discovered similar to our souls.

For Erika the dream journey would be an on the road between Iceland e Faroe Islands, In search of the northern lights, breathing the boundless spaces, silence, The strength of nature.
For Luca the journey of desires is instead the ancient Egypt, For its millenary history, for the greatness of its civilization, for the emotion of being in the presence of timeless archaeological sites.
How much has changed your travel style to have a child and think it is possible to travel full-time with a child?
Very, very much, useless to deny it. We know many couples, among blogger friends, who even after their children continued to travel as before and more than before. For us, for various reasons, It was not possible and even when we did it at the beginning it was, honestly complicated to match our child's needs with the rhythms we were used to. We would not talk about renunciation but of a continuous adaptation to everyone's needs, which inevitably leads to slowing down and perhaps for this way to enjoy more small things that first on the road it was not important.
Gabriele is a very curious child, Traveling with him is a great emotion but at the moment, also for the work commitments that keep us linked to our land, I don't know if we would be ready to travel full-time in three: It is something fascinating but also of much complex, at least in our eyes. We admire a lot who is doing it, But we believe it is not from everyone.
And we want to say it because in a historical period in which it is told almost exclusively how beautiful it is and simple to do anything, In our opinion, it is also right to underline the difficulties that can be encountered and that make us human, Also according to many parents who wrote to us after some posts written on the subject and thanked us for having normalized the crises and difficulties, making them feel less alone and wrong if something was wrong like their plans.

A small gesture with a huge meaning, If we think about what there is still to do, also at the level of information and awareness, on the subject sustainability and on the environmental issue.
In our little one we have always been and in particular after becoming parents we are careful to insert small habits important for the environment in our daily lives: We buy as bulk as possible from local producers, When possible we move on foot, We often buy accessories, Second -hand dresses and toys, We use reusable and non -disposable products, Like Napkacular in the table and steel water bottles away from home.
Erika since last year has become a vegetarian and in general we try to be careful of the consumption of meat and to inform us more and more about what we can do to defend the land we live in and our future and our children.
