Hi we are Mirko and Erika, We met online and from the first appointment we started talking about travel.
Mirko was a tile on his own and Erika the bartender, But we dreamed of a different life from what we had. We wanted to explore the world, sharing the values in which we believe that respect for nature, For local cultures and communities.
Also eager to realize our dreams to build a job that would reflect us in all respects. Mirko wants to become a travel videomaker and documentary maker and Erika a travel designer.
Forest life was born from the idea of talking about how nature is good for man, how travel is used to open the mind and expand their horizons knowing different cultures in full respect of the environment and peoples who host us.
Full-time travelers: This might seem like a dream for many people, But how it is in reality to be nomads?
We decided to give up everything and embark on a long -term journey both as experience and luggage of our life, both as part of a wider project. We travel low budget and this involves having a lot of spirit of adaptation to be able to return to the daily budget.
We realize that many people dream of this kind of life, But sometimes it is just about taking that first step and finding the courage to do it.
Being nomads means not only seeing wonderful places in the world, but make sacrifices, because behind the articles we write and the videos we produce, There are many hours of work. We are also far from our families and friends, And this is perhaps not for everyone, But we feel that this lifestyle belongs to us.
You are now in Asia, where you find yourself exactly and what are the things you love most of the part of the world in which you are?
Now we are in Asia precisely in Thailand. This part of the world fascinates us above all for the culture of indigenous and rural populations that still maintain their traditions.
We love the approach that people have towards life here, their kindness ready to always give help to those who need it. We love Buddhist temples and observe the rituals and practices that believers make every day. We love Asian cuisine and the incredible charm of the surrounding nature.
What do you lack instead of Italy, If you miss something?
As you know Easy Travel Hosting uses renewable and echo energies- sustainable to feed their servers. A tree is also planted for each new hosting, actively helping the reforestation and absorption of CO2. What do you think of this project and in general, think it is important to search for a more sustainable lifestyle?
