I SAW THAT YOU HAVE A SERIES OF ARTICLES TITLED "I 5 SENSI". COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT THIS CONCEPT RELATING TO YOUR TRAVELS?
Everyone says, borrowing the famous quote that is popular on the internet, That “You experience every journey three times, when you dream about it, when you live it and when you remember it”.
Well I like to exaggerate by saying that you experience every trip five times: through the images that remain imprinted in the eyes, through sounds that attract the ear, through scents that stimulate the sense of smell, through the foods that drive the taste buds crazy and through what the body perceives and touches!
This is what I mean to make a trip, be it behind the house or thousands of km away! Every time I start with the desire to bring sensations and memories able to upset mine with me 5 sensi!
I want to remember every trip through a song, a perfume, a dish, a breathtaking panorama and the warmth of a handshake by a stranger!
I want to come back from every trip a little’ changed and with a new wealth of emotions!

I see that Japan has a great charm for you. What does it represent in your life as a traveler?
Certainly the trip to Japan represented the realization of a dream that for years had been buried in a drawer together with hundreds of other destinations to make your head lose.
On the web I had seen and revised hundreds of times the images of the modern Tokyo, of the traditional Kyoto, of the festive Osaka and the touching Hiroshima and hundreds of times I had tried to imagine how I would have reacted once you come to their destination!
Among all the trips I've done so far, Surely, Japan is at the top of my personal ranking as it has managed to conquer me totally!
Modernity and tradition that follow one another impressively; The maniacal precision and the discreet smile of the Japanese; The colors that fill the stalls of the various city markets; The intoxicating flavor of food (And I'm not just talking about sushi ...); The beauty of religious rituals; the grandeur of the temples and the mysticism that transpires from them; The tranquility and harmony that you breathe walking in the wonderful gardens.
I could continue for hours to list what really made my senses go crazy in the Japanese land.
As a maniac of order and punctuality, Then, I could not be attracted to the way of doing and organizing their life which is frantic but which follows the rhythms and rules that in the eyes of tourists seem to dances synchronized in unison.
Put simply I recommend everyone to start discovering this wonderful country by letting themselves be transported to a wonderful world and decidedly distant from our way of life.

What was the most extreme experience you lived on the road?
Premise: I'm certainly not a backpack traveler, from nights outdoors and extreme activities.
I prefer, far, a trolley and the tranquility of a small family-run hotel.
If I have to describe an experience that can be defined as "extreme", the only thing that comes to mind is the journey to discover Roatan sitting on the hot bed of a pick-up truck.!
It certainly won't be the best adventure but for me it was truly a special experience and a little out of the ordinary!

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
This is an issue that all travelers should approach with greater caution, as our planet is trying in every way to warn us about the damage that man has done in the past and is, Unfortunately, continuing to do!
When we are travelling, Me and my partner, We adopt simple rules to try to be as possible "green".
We limit the use of plastics, for example, Always using thermal bottles and solid shampoo/shower gel, of a famous brand that has as mission that of respect for animals and the environment!
From Japan then we brought home the healthy habit of collecting all the waste produced during the day and to "keep them" to our return to the hotel, in order to avoid leaving them around and "centralizing" the collection and helping disposal especially in less developed countries (See our last trip to Zanzibar).
Furthermore, this summer we also experimented with sunscreens without Octinoxate and Oxybenzone, two chemical components harmful to the health of corals.
Now, thanks to you, I discovered that you can be "greener" even by traveling and by making yourself travel from home using platforms that care about the health of the planet!
All these are, in our opinion, small gestures that can really help!
