We are Sabrina and Marco, The names and faces of the people who hide behind Finally Friday; A couple travel blog, born from the unstoppable desire to leave that with the approach of the weekend it only increases, with prevailing focus on trips out of town, Weekend and street itineraries in Italy and in the rest of Europe.
Finally on Friday it is an adventure born a little for fun at the end 2016 as a historical and photographic memory of our movements; who has grown with us over time, becoming a virtual space in which we share experiences really lived. We tell places and destinations and develop itineraries that those who follow us can replicate or use as a base to build customized ones, But let's also give practical advice and information (We hope) useful.
In everyday life, before being two part-time travelers, we are a couple. We are together from 2015 But we know each other since elementary school times! Marco is an engineer, While I deal with marketing and communication. And when we don't travel or work, We are two normal guys, who have recently put home; I like to read, write, Go to exhibitions and museums and watch TV series; while Marco is a technology enthusiast, Photography and video games.
In your blog you have an extensive part that covers our beautiful Italy. Why the choice to prefer our country, When today it is possible to travel abroad easily thanks to the many low-cost flights?
Italy is our main source of inspiration!
Finally on Friday it was born from the desire to unite the passion for travel with a full -time job made of commitments and deadlines but also by the belief that traveling does not only mean getting on a plane and flying far away. Traveling for us also means and above all exploring our territory, From the closest areas of Tuscany to the rest of the beautiful country; To trespass in the car or with short air trips in European countries.
Our niche is proximity trips, Easy destinations to reach with short movements (in auto, train and plane), And the message we try to send is that there are many destinations to discover and it is not always necessary to fly from the other part of the world in order to say that you have traveled.

Slovenia is one of the European countries that has fascinated us most! And that immediately intrigued the public of our community ☺
Slovenia was a discovery. A destination of the border, choice almost by chance, at the last minute, In Piena Estate (it was the 2018), because logistically easy to reach by car, It soon turned into a unique experience that allowed us to range over a week between different natural environments and to easily combine different interests: The sea of Pirano and Portorose, in Slovenian Istria, the lakes of bled and haunts, Le Miniere di Idrija, The caves of Predjama and Postumia. Without forgetting the capital, Liked, that we visited through the eyes of a local guide through the experience of the free tour.

One of the most sustainable countries of the old continent, For years on top of the ranking of the most livable and safe states of the world. France is a country that fascinates us a lot! We have in mind several trips and itineraries that we would like to organize to discover the wonders of Brittany and Normandy, Loire valley, Burgundy and Champagne.
For now, In addition to Paris, The romantic French capital, in which we were 3 times in recent years and in which we always return Volentier, We visited Provence, in June 2019, With a seven -day on the road that touched the wonderful flowering of lavender but also the wild side of the Camargue, the oil bra, The perched villages of Gordes and Les-Baux-de-Provence but also the Roman history of Arles and that of the Popes of Avignon.
We have gone through a great variety of natural landscapes - some of which paintings on canvas by painters such as Van Gogh, Gaugain, Picasso, Chagalle - and known a fascinating chapter of history, of art and architecture from the Romans to the present day. We came out of it enriched and we can't wait to repeat the experience to include what in a week we have not been able to see, or the Gorges of the Verdon!

What do you think of this project and in general, think it is important to search for a more sustainable lifestyle?
It is a very interesting project and we are pleased to have been chosen together with many other travel blogger to participate in the wider flow reflection behind us.
By now we can no longer only speak of climate change, energy saving, echo sustainability, deforestation, Good practices ... we have to act and inform us! Each as it can, with their own means, your choices and possibilities.
We always hear about pollution of material things, less than the impact that have intangible products such as the web and the network on the environment. That it is a hosting service to do so and adopt concrete solutions in first person, we find it brilliant!
We are convinced that everyone's contribution is important, change passes from the awareness that everyone's daily choices have an impact on the environment. When we can, During our travels, We reach the destinations by public transport and once we arrive on the spot we move mainly on foot; We are careful not to pollute and support local communities with artisan and km0 products.
The adoption of a more sustainable lifestyle is no longer a choice but a moral and civic duty and must gradually become increasingly part of our lives.
