Yes for us it is very important, We suffer a lot and we get angry too, When animals are used to entertain tourists! Unfortunately we have not always had the right balance in making respectful choices of animals. But it was the animals, Exactly Asian elephants to change our way of traveling.
When we visited Thailand, We had a short volunteer experience at the Elephant Nature Park north of the country; It was a unique emotion to be there with them to theirs “service”, respect their times and their nature, not the opposite. From that moment when we want to have an experience with animals we make sure it is sustainable and respectful!
