Dream Dolomites
Your guide in the Dolomites

A project born on social media thanks to Nicola and Umberto, To which gradually three girls were added, To tell our beautiful Dolomites.
Dream Dolomites It is a portal that arises from love and passion for these places, And soon their first book in the Dolomites will also be available!

Hello to the whole dream Dolomites team, Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! Congratulations for your project, that really arises from the passion you have in common: The Dolomites. You could talk about you, how the project was born and how it is developing?

The project was born in the winter of 2018/2019, Shortly after Vaia, with the intent to be able to restore a dream to our Dolomites, affected by bad weather. The project started with Nicola and Umberto, than in a young way, using the social channels and the website, they started telling stories, excursions, and to publish the best photos of a unique territory all over the world.

Over time it has evolved by inserting two girls from Val di Fassa into the team (Camilla and Nicole), and a girl from Alta Val di Non, who integrated perfectly into the team and began to make all their contributions by describing their areas with the eyes of those who see them every day.

Today Dolomiti dreaming is about to publish his first book on the Dolomites, with the best excursions to do in these areas and with some advice on how to best experience the mountains.

It is a book created in crowdfunding with the Bookabook publishing house, which will be published and delivered to bookstores and made available on Amazon starting from January 2022.

Except this pandemic period, certainly in recent decades the Dolomites have increasingly become a sought-after destination for tourists and trekking lovers from all over the world. How did you experience this change?? Have you seen your Dolomites lose a bit of their soul or the impact of tourism has been well absorbed?

Vero, in recent years the Dolomites have become a destination for tourists from all over the world, with some icons of the Dolomites such as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Lake Braies, of Sorapis, and many other areas that were attacked, and which in our opinion have made us lose the true charm of life in the mountains.

Precisely for this reason, in the last period, our biggest goal was to tell about the lesser-known areas of the Dolomites, in order to convince tourists, that these mountains have wonderful places even beyond the most famous places, and "disperse" the entire mass of tourists elsewhere too.

However, we believe it is always a question of choices. We walked some trails during the summer season where we didn't encounter more than 5/6 people for the entire duration of the excursion, and we will return to visit places such as the Tre Cime or Lake Braies out of season, when there won't be too many people and it will be a pleasure to be able to experience the mountains as they should normally be experienced.

However, a note of merit goes to all the business owners for having been able to manage the flow of tourists from all over the world very well., and for allowing them to have an unforgettable experience in this area.

Let's talk about the column "Six-legged Dolomites", clean yes Nicole: brilliant! What it's like to travel and walk in the Dolomites with our quadruped friends? There is adequate infrastructure?

Absolutely yes! There are more and more structures and activities dedicated to our friends a 4 legs. By now our friends at 4 paws are increasingly part of our lives, and our daily lives, we can take them almost everywhere.

What we would like to suggest to those who choose to enjoy a holiday in the mountains is first of all to always keep them on a leash, and not to go on too demanding excursions, remembering that dogs do not have the same physical stability as us humans.

There are many possibilities, an infinite number of beautiful places to discover, and our Nicole will try to make you discover them in the best possible way.

A topic that is always close to our hearts is respect for the environment and how a certain area behaves regarding pollution and separate waste collection.
The Dolomites, in the collective imagination, they are a place with pure air and pristine meadows.
Does this idea reflect reality or even in this area the fight against pollution is problematic?

And, this idea reflects reality, the result of many choices and respect for nature carried forward over the years. Ecological areas in each country where separate waste collection is carried out, and the always valid law of "bringing waste downstream" help to keep the areas of the Dolomites as clean of waste as possible.

Unfortunately many tourists, not knowing these "unwritten laws" and the good rules of life in the mountains, they leave waste in shelters and do not follow separate waste collection, but one of our great objectives is also to make our readers understand what are the good rules to follow to respect the mountains and thank it every day for the spectacle it gives us.

Only if you continue to follow a few small rules and respect them, will be able to continue to give us magnificent and unique sceneries in the world.
