ROSALIA, YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A PERSON WITH AN EYE FOR VINTAGE, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
Compared to the average age of bloggers, I'm quite "outside"... Mine was a gamble: I have been registered in the Journalists' Register since 15 years, but I've been writing practically since they put a pen in my hand. I graduated with a typed thesis, then work catapulted me from fax to emails. All this to say that although I have adapted to the most modern means and am now able to extricate myself between terms such as engagement and SEO, I remain fond of pen and notebook and I always write the posts by hand first for the blog www.cittameridiane.it.

YOUR BLOG IS CALLED "Meridian city". WHY THIS TITLE?
The name was taken from “Il pensiero meridiano” by prof. Franco Cassano, with whom I took the Sociology exam at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Bari before moving to Milan where I graduated: a book that I recommend you read! While the symbol of the blog is the chameleon, which represents the need to shed one's skin as situations change, what I have almost always done in my life, but also a symbol of resilience, the ability to adapt and reorganize even after less than positive experiences.

THE COUNTRY THAT SNAPPED YOUR HEART?
Difficult to answer this question. At the risk of sounding banal, I would say that the most beautiful country in the world is the one in which we live, who is suffering at the moment but who we are sure will soon come back stronger than before. If we then talk about atmospheres, those that capture us, equal merit, they are the Greek and Spanish ones. Both in Greece and in Spain we feel a bit at home!

What do you do to make your travels more ecological?
We try to travel by plane as little as possible, also because we undertake most of our journeys with our Otto, a Bernese Mountain Dog of almost 40 kilos who couldn't accompany us in the cabin. In our travels we suggest those who follow us to use alternative means, setting a good example. So when possible we travel on foot, by bicycle and also on horseback.
And we choose eco-friendly accommodation facilities and, if possible, with cruelty free products.
