LEAVING WITH
SANDRA AND FABRIZIO

Sandra and Fabrizio, For thirteen years of life and travel companions for thirteen. They are not made to stay in one place, Their curiosity and the desire to explore is too big! chiviaggiatrova.it it's the blog where they talk to us about themselves and their travels.

Welcome to Easy Travel hosting! Could you tell us a little about yourself, where you met and how your blog was born?

Hello and thank you for the space you are giving us. We are Sandra and Fabrizio and we have been travel and life companions for more than 13 years.
Io, Sandra, I've been traveling for as long as I can remember, I speak 4 languages and I lived in Germany for a long time.

During a period of seasonal work in Calabria, I met Fabrizio and from there we never separated again.
He started traveling with me and the passion completely overwhelmed him.

In May 2020, in full pandemic crisis, we went against all logic and started our blog “Who Travels Finds”, with the desire to share our experiences, give useful advice and make people aware of the correct approach to travel.

On your blog you have a section on sustainable travel and responsible tourism. Could you tell us about your way of travelling?

We like to define ourselves as responsible travellers, careful to protect the environment, the ethics and economy of the places we visit.
We are lovers of slow travel, we avoid overcrowded destinations and large international chains as much as possible.

We see sustainability both from the environmental side, therefore traveling with extreme respect for nature, but also and above all from the human side.

On every trip we try to live experiences in close contact with the locals, we always stay in accommodation managed by locals and eat in typical trattorias, preferring local and 0 km food.

By doing so we try to support the economy of the places we visit and, Furthermore, we learn to know and share the typical customs of the inhabitants.
Finally, we try to minimize plastic consumption by carrying our faithful water bottle with us and using eco-sustainable travel products..

Let's make conscious choices, which start from the preparation of the itinerary and accompany us during all our journeys.

Photography is something that unites you. What types of photographers are you and what do you get inspired by??

We say we are gods “photographers by chance”, in the sense that what we know, we learned it on the field.
However, photography remains a great passion of ours, even if we don't have expensive and professional equipment

Our humble reflex accompanies us for now, a good cell phone and the inevitable pedestal.

We both love photographing landscapes, nature and animals, but also scenes of daily life in the places we visit.

The greatest source of inspiration is precisely this, our travels, the people we meet, all the wonders the earth has to offer.

Living in a very social era, obviously we also take inspiration from the web, from magazines and other enthusiasts like us.

Traveling and eating, and obviously drinking too! Discover the culture of a country through the table. On which trip were you most impressed by the local gastronomic culture??

This is a difficult question for both of us, given that every journey for us also passes through the stomach!
I would say for now let's put Thailand first.

The aromas and flavors of their dishes are exceptional, inviting and engaging. There are so many typical Thai dishes, very varied and for all tastes.
What we liked the most, is the use of the highest quality raw materials and the strong presence of plant elements, such as fruit and vegetables.

Thai markets are an experience to try at least once in a lifetime, eat sitting on a bench among locals and travellers, with scents of coconut and spices coming from everywhere.

Just the huge smiles of the people are an invitation to the table! In general, we like to taste the typical dishes of the countries we visit and take home some recipes to make again. By doing so, We have now become expert Greek Moussaka chefs, Turkish pizza and Dominicani Tostones!
