Ciao! First of all, thanks for the interview, I am deeply honored and I ask forgiveness if I made you wait a while but I was overwhelmed by the commitments and unexpected events of this incredible historical period that we are experiencing.
I have always drawn and painted, Since I started having a memory 😀 I cannrate high school studies but then I recovered with the Academy of Fine Arts where I found my way studying painting before and graphic design in specialization after. These two characterizations come together and mix to create my works of art, My paintings. I love painting with bright and contrasting colors, I love that you can see the brush strokes and the thickness of the color to give body and materiality to painting e, despite not having a fixed genre, I deeply love the eastern world so I often find myself painting geisha women, Pagoda and kimono.
My blog was born many years ago now, this year it performs 10 years! At the time it was born as an outlet because initially I proposed my works on the marketplaces but then I realized that I had been plagiarized, especially in works depicting my childhood idols such as Lupine III, so I decided to have my own, that represented me and narrated who I am and could give the right light to my works, to my work and also to my artistic growth 🙂 www.azzumail.com it's all this! In fact, in art and on the web I am always Azzumail!

IF YOU COULD MEET A MISSING ARTIST, WHO WOULD BE?

Woaawwwww worlds open up here!!! You see, there are many artists and geniuses of the past but the one I love most for his skilful use of light, of brightness, bright colors and brushstrokes for sure Claude Monet.

I had the pleasure of seeing many of his works live and what he managed to create with color and brushes is truly compelling especially in "The Walk" and in the "Essay of figure en Plain Air". What fascinates me most is to see how the figure comes from what they are only touched up close, Lines and spots of non -deciphered color.

I also noticed the influence of manga like Lupine III

Yes this is a bond that I have with my past, with my childhood. Slowly I am deviating my art from this genre but anyway it always remains what made me "get out of the den" because if 10 Years ago no one had shamelessly copied my painting on Lupine III now I wouldn't be here 😀

What do you do to make your life more ecological?

Everyone thinks that making the world cleaner is a huge and tiring job but in reality we talk about modifying small daily habits. Quando iniziai a dipingere non pensavo che qualche piatto di carta avrebbe fatto male al pianeta (Let's talk at least about 20 years ago) ma, As I tell my book "Instant Pop Art" having been aware of it, I changed my artistic tools in order to avoid dangerous materials for the environment such as plastic and using only recyclable and reusable noble materials such as glass.
Each one, in his little one, it should contribute even if you think about it, It is not enough to make separate collection, Think of your habits and start from there!
