But from pregnant things changed: as a fairly refined figure full of resources, I turned into a reserve always on the bench.
I even came to a point in my life in which I convinced me that my career had come to an end.
But in 2017, Thanks to a Google Challenge (Google Developer Challenge Scholarship), I had to change my mind! I test my skills because I wanted to go back to the tech world with your head held high and silence all those vowes in the head that told me to give up, And I won a scholarship in Android programming on 60 thousand participants throughout Europe ...
From that moment on I decided to bet more on myself and on my talents, becoming feelance. π

"The Jungle Mail" was born for about a year. The idea of ββthe name came to me in combining my greatest passions: the one for plants, for the green world and the one for the web, In addition to wanting to help as many women as possible to emerge with their talents in digital.

In my social channels I always try to have a more informative approach and I don't speak much of my private life, simply for a choice of communication.
As for the newsletter instead, I chose a more intimate approach precisely because I simply didn't want to create the usual "e-mail spam", sensationalist or charge of promotions of my business, But instead I wanted to create a more intimate connection with my readers, To share with them not only my successes, but also my defeats!

Reading you between social and newsletter, You mainly contact a female audience. What a relationship do you create with your audience and why this choice of audience?
From my previous answers you may have sensed a bit of which are my ideas, But mainly the choice of a female target was outlined not only because of my work and life experiences, but also for a simple matter of affinity.
I want to clarify that I have tightened many contacts on the net also with valid professionals with whom I collaborate and interact, and with whom I have tightened truly precious professional friendships; But in the past it has not always been like this.
I suffered several sexual discrimination at work: I suffered mobbing, straining, bossing, mansplaining (and whoever has more!), in a period of my life in which I was not very centered on myself, And I was not fully aware of my potential.
I suffered from panic attacks for this, And I had to literally pause my working life because of this.
At that time I had no friends in Milan, And I often felt alone. I simply don't want other women to feel alone in the same way, or that they do not feel able to do certain things, because they have a low self -esteem.
There are many women who still now, in the 21st century, they think they are not able to start their own online activity simply because they approved in the common idea of ββbeing "weak sex", And in my little one I would like to eliminate these gender disparities.
Speak and bring to know, With the help of other digital professionals, of the problems of the "Digital Gender Gap" and the "Digital Divider", It is one of the goals that I would like to achieve with my business. π
You found difficulty or skepticism on the part of those around you when you decided to embark on freelancer's career in the world of web design?
To tell the truth not so many. I have a partner who has always supported my ideas, even the most bizarre! And let's say that, even if he hadn't supported me, I would have made it anyway!
After such an important path on myself, It would have been really a shame to waste it by not putting the lessons learned into practice. π
