Advice, web development, social media e Canva Expert. Today we are pleased to host Easy Travel hosting Barbara Tulissi. You could tell us about your story, and the many roads you have traveled before you get to create the job you do today?
I never know how to answer this type of question because I should start since I was eight and with my sister we had jewels with beads. That was my first real contact with creativity.
But without starting from the big bang, I would say that I was passionate about the digital world in 2016 When I was in Barcelona for my first Master in Mathematics. I have always liked the numbers but I felt that I had to add my creative part to create something that I would have liked to do in the future.
So at the completed master I returned to Italy with the idea of creating a start-up in the sphere of rhythmic gymnastics, The sport that I practiced throughout my adolescence and that literally stole my heart.
Unfortunately, the idea was wrecked due to too long timing of web development.
In the meantime, however, I had started studying ways in which to promote my idea on the web, I bought some courses, I trained and while I deepened the digital themes, I understood that that would be my way.
In the following years I worked with some web agency in my city, Udine, Then I opened the VAT number and started the social media manager and web developer activity as a freelance working with different foreign customers and big brands such as Generali Italia and Fujitsu Italia.
A fine 2020 I then thought of creating something again and I launched myself in the creation of my first digital product, i 100+ Funnel Template, One hundred models Canva which help social media managers and entrepreneurs and launch their brand on social networks thanks to customizable and semi-plank graphics.
This project was advertised in March 2021 And now, at the beginning 2022 I can say that it was a succession. Next to that I started the Facebook Personal Brand Italy community (link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/digitalmarketerspb) which today counts beyond 800 members. In September 2021 They then started contacting me from several courses and universities to teach the tool I love: Canva.
A few months ago I started to keep a series of canvas themed training workshops also on the Learnn platform (link: https://learnn.com?via=bt95444).
It was not always easy, I have to admit it but now I would not change what I do at all in the world.
Among your studies there are linguistic ones and your life is from digital nomadic. How useful it is, in your opinion, leave Italy to be able to expand their view?
Indeed we could really say that my passion for languages is what has given birth to the desire to travel in me. I have always traveled a lot since I was a teenager but in the last two years I have definitely made my lifestyle's journey.
Think that in February 2020 I had bought an expert in Bali with other Spanish and Portuguese digital nomadic boys. Too bad I had to erase the journey because of the pandemic. As soon as I was able, however, I left Italy and, in October 2020, I moved to the Canaries and in less than six months I had already lived in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote.
A few months later I heard of a digital nomad village in Madeira, in Portugal, A project by a boy to create community between those like me who have a passion for travel and their work. I spent a month in Madeira and the month after I was in Fuerteventura, An island of the Canaries that I was missing. Now I have recently returned from a month spent on the island of Sal, in Capoverde, followed by 5 days in Lisbon.
To answer the question, I wouldn't have known a lot of interesting people, I would probably not even have the idea of launching a product of my own and surely I would have accused the tiredness and heaviness of a situation like the current Italian one.
I would do the choice to travel by working a thousand times, When I decided to do it, among other things, I wanted it to be my decision, not to travel because "the company sent me" and not to collaborate with companies that "if you travel then we cannot trust" (And trust me they happened to me!). I chose to do it for me because as a person I need to work to live and not the other way around, I need to be able to go out and find the sun, take a bath in the pool in my lunch break and go out the weekend and always see new places.
I call this life.
The moment you heard that the turning point was possible was when you started teaching canvas, Today tool used by all bloggers. It does not speak?
Canva is a very useful tool for different professional figures, by bloggers, to advertiser, to graphic design and to all those who want to launch their own brand.
I discovered Canva in 2016, At the time of my Master, a lot was already used in Spain and arrived in Italy I continued to use it as I needed to produce graphics for the social media of my customers and for websites.
I like to define canvas an all-in platform, In the sense that given its continuous updates, it is increasingly becoming a design tool, understood not as art but as a creative process. Anyone who has an idea, by the entrepreneur to the teacher, It can put it into practice having an almost infinite bookshop of models ready for the most disparate purposes available, The possibility of sharing the project with a team of people and working in real time, to plan the posts for their social networks and much more.
A canva statistics say that on average a company uses 88 applications to try to be as efficient as possible in one's work.

In a now arid working world, where you have to thank you for having a precarious place for a thousand euros per month working six days a week, We see more and more frequently stories of young independent entrepreneurs who build their future by themselves, and most are women. You would like to give us your opinion on this phenomenon, And what you would say to a girl who cannot find herself in the work scheme 9-5?
I too have noticed this phenomenon and making us a reasoning I think that, Even if we speak so much of the equal of the sexes we are still far away, At least in Italy.
It happened to me once a customer who asked me if I had children because according to her, mother, With children you can't manage a business.
Of course I decided not to work together.
I recently associated myself with Shetech, A community that supports entrepreneurous women e, Sent the request for a member, Several sponsorships of other communities have appeared on social networks who support women and girls.
I think it's beautiful, Especially because -unfortunately it is true- A woman has to do much more effort to prove that she is able to do something respect for a man, and often, in my experience, It is very easy to find other women who put the sticks in the wheels.
If I went back I would say to me of 23 years of holding on because with constancy and perseverance you can reach your dreams.
When I started this job and started it in smartworking already in 2016, My family did not understand what I was doing, they always saw me at home, in front of the pc in pajamas.
Then when I found work in the first web agency they were so happy that I went to the office. But you know how much I was productive in the office? Out of eight working hours perhaps 4.
Coffee breaks, The head that interrupts you for every minimal paranoia, Unnecessary meetings with customers take time, sometimes unjustified. Not to mention the time literally wasted in changing, make -up and money in petrol and pollution to reach the office.
I led this life for three months then I started my career as a freelance and I better explained to my what I did.
Now even if they don't understand in detail what I do, They see me happy around the world and know well that the money I use to travel don't give them to them. Now it's my results to speak for me.
I don't think I have come anywhere because life is a goalless journey, but I feel like a girl like many others who can perhaps recognize themselves in this story.

What do you think of this project and in general, Do you think it is important to search for a more sustainable lifestyle?
I don't think it's important I think it's essential.
I believe that in a few marketers and remote workers know that internet pollutes and that is why the Easy Travel Hosting project immediately hit me.
It is useless to order the drink without straw on the bar if we then lean on servers that pollute like a chimney or not make the separate collection or prefer the car to go to the tobacconist on the road.
I am very sensitive to professional ethics, I always try to keep the word date, to behave correctly even when relationships with customers become difficult and at the beginning 2022 I was just wondering how to contribute more to the green theme, It is one of my intentions for the new year.
I have to be honest, When I chose smartworking as a working mode, It was not only for convenience but because I believe that our planet is a gift as our life is. Continue to divert it only because "it is necessary that the customer will see you in person" does not make sense.
It seems incredible but I found this behavior in the companies that more than others are spokesman for the well -being of the planet.
I think if I can contribute to the sustainable development of technology, reducing pollution, I will do it, For this I am testing the Easy Travel hosting platform.
